boost your immune system with healing breathwork and medicinal mushrooms

Join us this evening, when we unlock the power of medicinal mushrooms, and take you deep into the healing capabilities of breathwork.

Our evening fuses both theory and practice – knowledge and action – in this two-part program where we start with a lecture on medicinal mushrooms – where you get to try, test, see and learn what nature’s own pharmaceuticals can do for your health. And afterwards we transition into the second part of the evening: a presentation and live session of why certain breathing techniques (breathwork) hold the power of spiritual and physical healing.

Mushrooms have been used for thousands of years as part of human diet, medicine and as a sacrament in religious contexts.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) mushrooms are a crucial part of the pharmacopoeia of remedies for longevity, a healthy immune system, mental wellness and for maintaining high levels of chi (life energy).

When you incorporate intentional use of the breath, you can learn to regulate the flow of energy and balance the body and mind. Using breathwork has been proven to help people reduce their anxiety level and increases parasympathetic activity, heart rate variability, physiological flexibility, and is one of the greatest tools we all have in our personal medical toolbox to manage stress. Breathwork is a heart opener. It teaches us the art of self love, of listening to our bodies and honouring them.

Ekaterina used to be a professional ballerina trained from the age of 6, but over the years she has gained a deep reverence for yoga. This led her to India and the Shivananda Vedanta Ashram and yoga school, where she has gained her educational background as a yoga teacher.

At One Thirty Labs, Ekaterina mixes Hatha flow, kundalini and stretching, combining her deep experience with movement, breathwork and meditation for you to discover your inner balance and peace.

Description:
We all know that Meditation is a useful tool for the mind and the body. However, many people find it hard to meditate because when we sit still and quiet our external stimulation, all of the racing thoughts, feelings, and sensations bubble up to the surface. And that feeling can trigger even more stress, as we find ourselves trying to relax but not being able to.

Breathwork can be the meditation, or breathwork can be the focus or the intention of the meditation.” Put differently, “Breathwork is an active meditation technique that uses breath to purge the body and nervous system of emotional debris.

The relaxing effects of a class can be immediate. So just come as you are ~ stressed, overwhelmed or exhausted, ~ our breathwork session is for everyone and anyone who is wants to join.

Class starts at 9.00 and you can leave again just 30min after feeling energized and centered, or you are welcome to stay in meditation until 10.00 at One Thirty Labs Tuesdays & Thursdays – let’s breath consciously together.

In our everyday life, we deal with stress, worries, conflicts, pain, and other stresses that can cause bodily tension states. For our running coach Malou Ljungberg, running is exactly what helps deal with all these tensions. In her everyday life, Malou is studying to become a “Psykomotorisk terapeut” where she works with the connection between body and psyche. Start your week right and join us for a run! All levels are welcome. We meet at 17:00 in front of One Thirty Labs studio every Monday.
