Light Therapy is the application of wavelengths of light to your tissue in order to obtain therapeutic benefits. Developed through years of medical research, LED Light Terapy is completely painless, its a pure non-laser light source through a matrix of purpose-built LEDs. During treatments, clients might feel a warm sensation through the body.

Taking in healthy light is crucial for skin cells, skin health, and beauty. Red and NIR light promotes balance across the body and skin by enhancing cellular respiration, making energy production more efficient, with less oxidative stress. When your cells are in greater balance, your skin will look and feel softer and more invigorated.

Most of our clients see the first results already after a few treatments, with improvements in skin tone and glow. Depending on your starting point, skin damage/condition and lifestyle, results will come with constant use over the first 2-4 weeks. But as with everything else, it’s crucial that you stick to your personal treatment plan.

With LED light, it is OK, as long as the lenses are not colored or tinted (which would reduce the lux level). We advise not using contacts for the first few days of treatment (regular glasses would be fine), since some people initially experience eye irritation, which might be exacerbated with contacts.

Low-level-light therapy is based on light emitting diode (LED) technology developed for NASA-manned space flight experiments. In comparison to lasers, the patented LED technology generates negligible amounts of heat and is not considered a risk device, it is therfore safe to use on sensitive skin.

We know that life is dynamic, so as long as you come back to your weekly session it doesn’t have a great impact in the greater picture – but as with anything else consistency is key if you wish to  maintain sustainable results.
